Busy-ness

Spring break is over, and classes have started at the charter school, where I teach in two second grade classrooms, and at Hyde Park Art Center (where, miraculously FOUR of the five classes I proposed actually ran!).

This is in addition to my standard Wednesday gig at the Little City Foundation, and my every-other-week workshop at a homeless shelter on the south side.

PLUS, I started working part-time at Jackson Junge Gallery, where my dad has work.  Basically, all my days are full full full.

New Schedule:

M: Puppets

T: Second graders for two hours, then Discover Art

W: Little City, then Draw, Paint, Print!

T: Discover Art, and then either homeless shelter, or at the gallery

F: Gallery

S: Gallery

S: Gallery

Wash, rinse, repeat.

I wish I could have worked things out so that I was kinda of moderately busy all months of the year.  Rather than my pattern of extremely slow and barely making it for several agonizing months, to super busy and fried brain tired no days off brown bag lunches 10:00 bedtimes.

I need to go to bed.

(Upside: saving money for Cranbrook is starting a few months early!)
